Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will be organizing the BITSAT 2014 entrance examination for the candidates interested in taking admission into engineering undergraduate courses for academic session 2014-15. BITSAT 2014 exam will be conducted in online mode, where the students appearing for the exam will have to mark or tick the correct option from the given set using a computer system backed with internet connectivity.
The seat allotment to the candidates will be based on the score of BITSAT 2014 in any of three campuses situated at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
There is an option made available to the applicants by the official authority, of choosing the dual degree course as well where candidates can complete two degrees simultaneously, UG and PG level in five years span. They can select B.E. (Hons.) and M.Sc. (Hons.) as their preferred combination.

BITSAT 2014 EXAM PATTERN IS AS FOLLOWS:
• Exam will be conducted online mode with the use of computer system, backed with keyboard and mouse.
• Applicants have the option to choose exam day, venue or exam center as per their preference and convenience.
• Time span of the examination is three hours.
• Exam will have four sections: Section 1: Physics, Section 2: Chemistry, Section 3: English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning and Section 4: Mathematics.
• There will be total of 150 objective questions (Physics 40, Chemistry 40, English 15, Logical Reasoning 10, and Math 45).
• Three marks will be given for right answer while for wrong answer one mark will be deducted
• Extra 12 questions would be available to the candidates who have completed the BITSAT 2014 Exam before the allotted time, which is 180 minutes.
• If the candidates choose to solve extra not allow 12 questions they will further to modify the answers given in the first set of questions.
