The UPSEE 2014 Exam Pattern is decided by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and the awareness of the application form helps the applicants in understanding the structure of the exam, various aspects associated with the exam including marking scheme, number of sections, number of section in each section etc. The exam pattern is one aspect, which does not vary that often as applicants appearing for the exam every year take time in adapting to the pattern as the preparation of the candidates to an extent is based on the set exam pattern therefore; there are not much of changes that are witnessed every year in the exam pattern.
Following is an overview of UPSEE 2014 Exam Pattern:
Following is an overview of UPSEE 2014 Exam Pattern:
- The UPSEE 2014 entrance exam will be conducted over a time duration of three hours
- The exam will have two papers i.e. paper 1 and paper 2
- Paper 1 will comprise questions from Physics, Math and Chemistry subjects
- While, the applicants appearing for B.Tech (Bio-technology) will have to answer questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- There will be total of 150 questions and each section will comprise of 50 questions
- The questions will be objective in nature with multiple choice of answers
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e. it will be presented to the candidates in both English and Hindi language
- For every correct answer, the applicant will be given four marks while, there is no provision of negative marking i.e. no negative marking in case of incorrect answer
- The use of black or blue ball point pen will be allowed for attempting the entrance exam of UPSEE 2014
