UPSEE 2014
UPSEE 2014 Exam is the entrance exam conducted by Gautam Buddha Technical University. The candidate will be eligible for admission in various undergraduate engineering courses through this entrance exam if they have met other eligibility criteria too.
UPSEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for the admission through UPSEE 2014 exam is necessary condition which needs to be fulfilled by the candidate. The candidate must respect the eligibility criteria because if at any moment university finds out that candidate has not abided by the criteria he/she can be expelled. The expulsion will be legal in such conditions even after candidate has got admission.
For candidates opting for B.Tech
• The Candidates must have not have not passed the qualifying exam with any grace marks.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in all the subjects opted.
For candidates opting for B.Arch
• They must have obtained an aggregate of 50% without any grace marks in the qualifying exam.
• The qualifying exam need not to be 12th class exam but may be any Diploma in architecture
UPSEE 2014 Application process
Online: Candidates will have to apply at www.upsee.nic.in . The application will be provided there with the payment methods for application fee. After submitting the form there, the candidate must send the confirmation page to the University.
Offline: The candidate must obtain the Application form at the Post Office (Main branch) or from the University. After fill the details, the form must be sent to the University before last date of submission
UPSEE 2014 Application Fees:
For applicants under “General/ OBC” category: Rs.1000/-
For applicants under “SC/ST / Women” category: Rs.500/-
Payment Modes for UPSEE 2014 Application fees: Cash payment, through bank challan or credit/ debit card. The candidate may also pay by using internet banking
UPSEE 2014 Reservation of Seats
The candidates will be able to register under various categories reserved under special classes. UPSEE 2014 will provide a fixed number of seats especially these candidates if they provide the original certificates. Following are the major reservation criteria defined for this exam:

U.P Scheduled Castes 21%
U.P Scheduled Tribes 2%
U.P Other Backward Classes 27%
There are various reservations provided for the subcategories under these main categories.
Note: Private Universities will allot 20% of the seats to JEE Main Merit list candidates. Out of these 20%, half will be reserved for U.P candidates and other half will be given to candidates on the basis of All India Merit.
UPSEE 2014 Exam Pattern
• The question paper for UPSEE 2014 will be of 600 marks (250 questions).
• No negative marking will be done for wrong answers, so candidate must attempt as many questions as he/she can.
• Each correct answer will add 4 marks to candidate’s score.
UPSEE 2014 Counselling
Counselling will be done after the release of the result and merit list. The candidates who will be able to score equal to or above cutoff marks will be eligible to Counselling. The candidates will have to choose the colleges in which they want to get admission. if the candidate will be found eligible for that college, he/she will be called for personal counselling.
