Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education (APSCHE), will conduct the engineering entrance exam of EAMCET 2014. The entrance exam will be conducted on 17 May 2014 for the entire engineering aspirant interested in pursuing engineering in the colleges accepting EAMCET scores. The EAMCET engineering entrance exam is a state level entrance exam conducted once every year. The application form of EAMCET 2014 has been available from 20 February 2014 on the official website. The applicants interested in filling the application form are required to make the online registration by visiting the official website and making payment of application fee. The payment of application fee of Rs 250 can be paid through AP Online, E-seva, and MEE-seva etc. The applicants must make sure they fill the application form before 14 May 2014, as it is last date for filling the application form.
EAMCET 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
As mentioned earlier, the eligibility criteria is an important aspect and following mentioned points to be adhered by the applicants in order to appear for the EAMCET 2014 entrance exam:
- In order to be eligible, the applicants must be Indian citizen, overseas citizen of Indian cardholders (OCI) and person of Indian origin (PIO).
- By 31 December 2013, the applicants must have attained the age of 16 years
- The applicant must have cleared the class XII or any equivalent exam from state or central recognized board of education
- The applicants are required to have Physics, Chemistry, Math as compulsory subjects and Biotechnology and Biology as optional in order to appear for the entrance exam
- The applicants of general category candidates, the applicant must have scored minimum of 45% marks and SC/ST category candidates must have scored 40% marks
The candidates are required to carry the following important documents to the process of counseling:
- Birth Certificate
- Category certificate (Applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- Income certificate (Applicable for one to two lakh or more than two lakh)
- Admit card/hall ticket of the exam
- Residence proof
- Hall Ticket of SSC or equivalent
